Travers offers two models of the new handheld lathe & milling vise tool from Stop-Loc. The lesser expensive Original model offers an inch ruler and the deluxe model has a thousand rulers on one side and a metric ruler on the other side. Both these models work exactly the same. The tool easily fits against the stop block. With colored stop blocks, you can easily slide and set the stop block to the desired length on the chuck arbor. You can use this handheld ruler tool to precisely position the workpiece on the vise. Another advantage of this product is any one colored stops can be moved anywhere your want or removed. It can act as a safety mechanism so the operator can’t reverse it. Use it on a CNC or a manual lathe. The maximum gauge length offered by this ruler tool is 5-1/2 inches.
