It is optimized for continuous cutting operations with a maximum depth of cut of 0.118 in. Designed primarily for ISO group N (Non-ferrous metals), this insert excels in finishing and light semi-finishing applications. Its positive rake geometry and continuous cutting suitability make it ideal for precision contouring and profiling in non-ferrous materials, but it is not recommended for interrupted cuts or roughing.
