Applications

Cutting speeds range from 361 to 755 sfm, with feeds between 0.012 and 0.024 in/rev and depths of cut up to 0.315 in. This insert supports general to interrupted cutting operations, handling medium to heavy cuts effectively. The 3/32″ nose radius and 1″ inscribed circle enable robust performance in demanding conditions. This insert is designed primarily for ISO groups P30-P35 (steel) and secondarily for M20-M30 (stainless steel), K30 (cast iron), and S15-S25 (HRSA/titanium). Its negative rake and strong edge make it ideal for roughing and interrupted cuts, but it is not suited for precision finishing or profiling applications.
