Applications

This insert supports cutting speeds from 115 to 656 sfm, feeds between 0.004 and 0.012 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.118 in. These parameters enable efficient continuous to general cutting operations. It is designed primarily for machining ISO groups S05-S15 (HRSA/Titanium) and secondarily for M10-M20 (Stainless steel) and H05-H10 (Hardened steel). The positive rake chipbreaker and continuous cutting application make it ideal for finishing and semi-finishing but unsuitable for heavy interrupted cuts.
