This CNMG insert supports cutting speeds from 525 to 984 sfm, feeds from 0.004 to 0.020 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.197 inches. These parameters enable robust general cutting operations with a focus on medium to rough machining. It is designed primarily for ISO P20-P25 steel materials. The negative rake chipbreaker and 80° diamond shape make it well suited for roughing and interrupted cuts, providing excellent edge strength and durability. This insert is not intended for precision finishing or profiling but excels in general turning and facing on steel with rigid setups.
