Applications

This CNMG432-GM NC3030 insert supports cutting speeds from 427 to 820 sfm, feeds between 0.009 and 0.024 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.197 in. It is designed for medium to low speed roughing operations, including interrupted cutting, with a maximum depth of cut of 0.197 in. It is suitable primarily for ISO P25-P35 steel and secondarily for M25-M35 stainless steel. The negative rake chipbreaker and 80° diamond shape make it ideal for general to interrupted cutting conditions, especially in rigid setups requiring strong edge durability and high material removal rates.
