Applications

This CCMT432-C25 insert supports cutting speeds from 361 to 755 sfm, feeds between 0.005 and 0.014 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.138 in. It is designed for general to interrupted cutting operations, accommodating a range of machining conditions. The insert’s positive rake geometry and 1/32″ nose radius optimize performance within these parameters. It is suitable for ISO material groups P30-P35 (Steel) primarily, with secondary capability in M20-M30 (Stainless steel), K30 (Cast iron), and S15-S25 (HRSA/Titanium). Its application envelope supports finishing and semi-finishing in these materials, including light interrupted cuts, but it is not intended for heavy roughing or severe interrupted cutting.
